The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, signed today the decrees for promulgation of the Law on Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Hellenic Republic for the opening of a new border crossing point between the two countries that connects Majden in the Republic of North Macedonia with Promachoi in the Hellenic Republic, and the Law on Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Hellenic Republic for the opening of a border crossing point in the Prespa Lake Region.
President Pendarovski believes that the opening of the border crossing Majden – Promachoi and the border crossing Markova Noga – Lemos between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Hellenic Republic will contribute to the further development of the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, will contribute to the development of cross-border cooperation and facilitate the communication of the population living in the region at the two border crossings.
President Pendarovski expects the competent institutions to give maximum contribution to the implementation of the planned activities for the opening of the two border crossings as soon as possible.
