The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, sent a congratulation message to the citizens of Islamic faith in the Republic of North Macedonia on the occasion of the great Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr.
In these festive days of unity, togetherness and respect, we should all together proceed with building coexistence for all citizens and build one society for all, an example for our future generations. This great holiday marks the end of the month-long fasting in which every believer sincerely opens the heart for faith and love. The holy month of Ramadan is the month of giving, helping, and sharing, something that strengthens our faith in good, righteousness and mutual understanding and respect. I wish these values are our everyday life and we all have a peaceful and happy life, not only on holidays but throughout the year.
President Pendarovski, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, sent a congratulation message to the Head of the Islamic Religious Community in the Republic of North Macedonia, Reis-ul-ulema Hadzi Sulejman efendi Rexhepi.
Let me extend my most heartfelt congratulations to you personally, to the members of the Riyaset, mufti, imams and all citizens of Islamic faith in the Republic of North Macedonia on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
On this great holiday, I would like to emphasize the contribution of the Islamic Religious Community and our fellow citizens of Islamic faith in building peace and coexistence in the multiethnic and multi-religious Republic of North Macedonia. Our common goal is a prosperous and European homeland.
