President Ivanov meets the President of the Parliament of Hungary, Laszlo Kover

KoverThe President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, met today in Budapest with the Hungarian Parliament Speaker, Mr. Laszlo Kover. At the meeting, they exchanged views on the overall bilateral relations between the Republic of Macedonia and Hungary, especially in the context of cooperation at the parliamentary level.

The Macedonian President said that Hungary is an important and proven partner of the Republic of Macedonia in its integration into the European Union and NATO.

He welcomed the ongoing cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries, noting that it is in line with the quality of the bilateral relations and expressed hope for further improvement in the future.

At the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the possibilities to enhance the cooperation in other spheres of mutual interest as well.

President Ivanov informed the President of the Hungarian Parliament of the reasons for the political crisis in Macedonia and for the possible solutions.
