The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, met today with Vasil Sterjovski, MP of Macedonian origin in the Parliament of the Republic of Albania, as well as with the delegation of the political party Macedonian Alliance for European Integration from the Republic of Albania.
At the meeting, President Pendarovski expressed satisfaction with Sterjovski’s election as part of the Albanian Assembly and expressed confidence that his work would contribute to further enhancing the overall cooperation between North Macedonia and Albania as two neighboring and friendly states and would positively contribute to the promotion of the position of the Macedonian minority in Albania.
The Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Albania, President Pendarovski said at the meeting, share identical priorities and vision for the future, are committed to good neighborly relations, regional cooperation, integration into the European structures.
Representatives of the Macedonian Alliance for European Integration presented the party’s ongoing activities, for which they expect support from President Pendarovski’s Cabinet, aimed at improving the position of the Macedonian minority in Albania.
