The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, received today Anita Angelovska-Bezoska, Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The meeting exchanged opinions and information on the current trends in the monetary policy, in the banking sector, as well as on the current developments in the economy.
President Pendarovski assessed that the National Bank, in its past operations, showed capacity to achieve financial stability and maintain a secure banking system, which, in continuity, is positively evaluated by the European Commission.
President Pendarovski expressed confidence that the successful conduct of the monetary policy will continue by maintaining price stability and that the National Bank will continue to contribute to maintaining a stable, competitive and market-oriented financial system.
