The President and his Wife host a chamber concert of young musicians from the “Tomislav Zografski” Foundation

Last night, President Stevo Pendarovski and his Wife, Ms. Elizabeta Gjorgievska, hosted a chamber concert of young musicians from the “Tomislav Zografski” Foundation.

Among the present guests were the Minister of Culture, Irena Stefoska, representatives of the diplomatic corps in the country, as well as representatives from the field of culture.

This is the first concert of its kind organized in Villa Vodno, and the purpose of this initiative is to promote young performers of classical music, as well as to promote the works of famous Macedonian composers.

Welcoming the attendees at the concert, the Director of the Board of the “Tomislav Zografski” Foundation, Panda Zografska-Belichanec, said that for fifteen years the Foundation has been successfully working to promote Zografski’s music, which is part of the cultural heritage of the country, as well as to develop the music culture in the country and abroad.

At the chamber concert, the young musicians: Stefan Nedelkovski, Jana Kaevska, Pandorka Janakieva, Eva Bogoevska, Gjorgji Trajkov, Maja Vitanova, Anel Selim and Leonardo Dimoski performed a repertoire of famous composers: Tomislav Zografski, Rio Noda, Ludwig van Beethoven, Goce Kolaroski, John Williams, Igor Stravinsky, and arrangements of two folk songs “Eleno kerko Eleno” and “Jovano Jovanke”” were performed.
