President Pendarovski receives credentials of new ambassadors of Australia and Saudi Arabia

President Stevo Pendarovski received the Letters of Credence of the new Ambassadors of Australia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of North Macedonia.

At the ceremony of presenting the letters of credence by the new Ambassador of Australia, resident in Belgrade, Daniel Emery, President Pendarovski emphasized that the two countries are connected by traditional friendship and mutual understanding, expressing confidence for further comprehensive development oand promotion of the overall relations, especially in the field of economy by using the potential of both countries and future presence of Australian investors in the Republic of North Macedonia.

“In this sense, the large Diaspora originating from our country in Australia also contributes, which is an additional bridge for strengthening our mutual communication and enhanced cooperation in culture, education, science and technology”, President Pendarovski said.

Stating that the two countries share many values and goals, including support for democratic governance, human rights, peace and prosperity in the region, underpinned by international rule of law, the Australian Ambassador added that Australia is a long-standing and committed NATO partner, so this will be another platform for joint work.

“Australia welcomes and supports North Macedonia’s impressive progress on its path to European Union membership. We see the EU as a key political and economic player, including in our Indo-Pacific region, which shares common values with Australia”, he said.

At the ceremony of presenting the Letters of Credence of the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resident in Tirana, Faisal Gazi Ismail Hifzi, President Pendarovski stressed that the relations between the two countries are based on mutual friendship and mutual understanding, which is a solid foundation for their promotion.

“In that regard, let me emphasize our sincere readiness to advance bilateral relations and mutual cooperation in all areas of mutual interest. I assure you that we will proceed with all the necessary activities and initiatives to achieve these goals, President Pendarovski said.

The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia said that he is deeply honored to represent his country as the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of North Macedonia.

“I would like to reaffirm my commitment to make every effort to further develop cooperation and good relations between our two countries and peoples, the Saudi Arabia Ambassador said.

President Pendarovski wished the new Ambassadors of Australia, Daniel Emery, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal Gazi Ismail Hifzi, success in the performance of their responsible diplomatic duties.
