Today, President Stevo Pendarovski received the credentials of the newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of North Macedonia, Marieta Garcia Hordan.
At the formal ceremony of handing over the credentials, President Pendarovski pointed out that her appointment is another confirmation of friendly relations, but also of the successful development dynamics of relations between the two countries, both bilaterally and multilaterally.
Wishing success in the performance of her responsible function, President Pendarovski expressed his expectation for the continued strengthening of relations and cooperation between North Macedonia and Cuba.
“I most sincerely believe that the future development of relations and cooperation, between our two countries, will represent a positive example and a challenge for their constant upgrading with new contents in specific areas, and above all in the areas of health, economy, culture, tourism and in other spheres of mutual interest”, stressed President Pendarovski in his address.
In her address, Ambassador Marieta García Hordán emphasized the complete readiness and commitment of the Republic of Cuba to further strengthen the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, especially the political dialogue, cooperation in the fields of culture and education, as well as encouraging economic cooperation.
