President Stevo Pendarovski received today the letters of credence of Do Hoang Long, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Republic of North Macedonia.
In the address at the ceremony of presenting the letters of credence, President Pendarovski, wishing a warm welcome to the Vietnamese Ambassador in our country, said that the two distant countries are connected by long-standing friendship, and the valuing of peace and stability is deeply engraved in the collective memory of our friendly peoples, as key prerequisites for development. He said that North Macedonia and Vietnam provide support and contribution to the international community, by promoting regional and global peace and stability. The President assessed that there is a huge untapped potential and mutual interest in promoting cooperation between the two countries, both bilaterally and multilaterally.
The Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Do Hoang Long in his address said that he will do his utmost to contribute to the friendship and fruitful cooperation between the two countries and expressed his expectation for support and help from our institutions.
President Pendarovski wished Ambassador Do Hoang Long success and happiness in the performance of his esteemed and responsible mission and expressed confidence that he will enjoy our full support in the performance of his diplomatic duties.
