President Stevo Pendarovski received today a delegation from the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, participating in the second meeting on “The role of MPs during the negotiation process” within the “Strengthening the expertise and capacities of MPs in relation to the EU accession process” project, which is held in Skopje.
President Pendarovski was introduced to the activities planned within the framework of the project, which is implemented with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
At the meeting, President Pendarovski said that the excellent bilateral relations between North Macedonia and Albania are a good opportunity to exchange experiences in the domain of European integration, bearing in mind the simultaneous start of the accession negotiations of the two countries.
The meeting discussed the situation in the wider region, including the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the energy crisis.
