President Stevo Pendarovski received today the letters of credence of the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the Republic of North Macedonia, resident in Budapest, Jose Filipe.
At the ceremony of presenting the letters of credence, President Pendarovski expressed his conviction that with his commitment and rich professional experience, Ambassador Filipe will contribute to finding new forms for content enrichment of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
“Let me emphasize the sincere readiness of the Republic of North Macedonia to advance the cooperation with the Republic of Angola. In the year when we mark 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, I would especially like to emphasize our desire to enrich the normative-legal framework for regulating bilateral relations, as well as our interest in promoting economic cooperation”, President Pendarovski said.
In his address, Ambassador Filipe conveyed the readiness of the Angolan government to create ties of cooperation with the Republic of North Macedonia in the most diverse domains of common interest, always having as basic principles respect between the two sovereign states, solidarity and friendship between peoples.
President Pendarovski wished Ambassador Filipe success in performing his duties.
