President Stevo Pendarovski received today the Federal Minister of Defense of the Republic of Austria, Claudia Tanner, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia.
The overall cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense was discussed at the meeting. President Pendarovski and Minister Tanner exchanged opinions and information on the implementation of the plan for bilateral cooperation in the defense between the two countries for this year, which contains several activities in the field of defense policy, military logistics, crisis management, as well as participation in various trainings and courses for professional development of military personnel in several areas.
President Pendarovski assessed that the Republic of Austria is among the loudest supporters of our European integrations and in that regard thanked for the overall Austrian support, including the process of reform and development in the field of defense and security, and expressed his expectation for further improvement of bilateral cooperation.
