Tomorrow, on September 11, 2023, Monday, President Stevo Pendarovski will host the meeting of the leaders of the countries participating in the Brdo-Brijuni Process in Skopje.

The President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, and the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Natasha Pirc Musar, will participate in the meeting as co-hosts, as well as the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, the President of the Republic Albania, Bajram Begaj, the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović and members of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Željko Komšić, Denis Becirović and Željka Cvijanović.

The focus of this year’s meeting of the leaders of the countries participating in the Brdo-Brijuni Process in Skopje is European integration, climate change and the emigration of young people.
The Brdo-Brijuni process was held for the first time in 2013 at the joint initiative of the presidents of the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia, in Brdo near Kranj.

The main goal of the process is the full integration of the countries of the region into the European Union, stabilization of the situation in the Western Balkans by strengthening regional cooperation and resolving open issues.

The leaders of the Brdo-Brijuni Process countries meet at least once a year.

At the meeting of the leaders of the countries participating in the Brdo-Brijuni Process, which will be held at the “Hilton” hotel in Skopje, 125 representatives of the media have been accredited, 72 from our country and 53 from abroad.
