Biography

Bisera Spasevska is part of the Cabinet of the President since August 2019 after several years of work experience in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of North Macedonia. She was an advisor to the Minister of Finance in the field of international finance, cooperation with international financial institutions and monitoring the implementation of IPA funds from the European Union. She was Chairman of the Housing Credit Subsidies Commission and a member of the project board of the project for improving the municipal governance of the United Nations Development Office in Skopje, in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union and the Ministry of Finance.

In her previous work experience, she worked in the Ministry of Information Society and Administration in the field of IPA funds, as a collaborator for monitoring the project portfolio of the Ministry.

She graduated and received her master’s degree from the Faculty of Economics at the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University.

As part of her informal education, she has participated in numerous trainings, holds a PRINCE 2 – Practitioner certificate, and in August 2019 was part of the US program for young leaders from different countries (IVLP).
