President Stevo Pendarovski sent a congratulation message to the members of the Serbian community in the Republic of North Macedonia on the occasion of the feast of St. Sava.
Dear fellow citizens of Serbian nationality,
On my personal behalf and on behalf of all the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia, let me cordially congratulate you on the national day of the Serbs in the Republic of North Macedonia – St. Sava and wish you to spend the holiday in good health, filled with joy and happiness.
The day of the first Serbian archbishop, educator and clergyman – St. Sava, January 27, is more than a national day of the Serbian community in the Republic of North Macedonia. It is undoubtedly one of the most important spiritual and national holidays of the Serbian people. It is through their traditions, customs and rich spiritual and cultural heritage that the Serbs, as an integral part of the multiethnic Republic of North Macedonia, enrich our culture and leave a mark on the social life.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I wish the wisdom, spirituality and perseverance of St. Sava to be motivation and example for overcoming all temptations and difficulties and to inspire us in achieving peace, harmony and prosperity.
Congratulations on January 27, the day of St. Sava!
