President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova sent a congratulation message on the occasion of December 21 – Day of Turkish Language Teaching.
Dear fellow Turks,
In the rich fabric of our homeland, the Turkish community is a shining thread that ennobles the mosaic of living together, contributing to strengthening mutual understanding and harmony.
On 21 December 1944, the voice of Turkish language teaching spread for the first time in the premises of the “Tefeyuz” school.
The Day of Turkish Language Teaching embodies the right of every people to cherish their mother tongue as part of their national and cultural identity. The Turkish language and culture are a precious part of the Macedonian multicultural treasury and a testimony to the centuries-old symbiosis and coexistence between peoples.
Language is not only a means of communication, but also the driving force that dimensions the achievements of science, shapes culture and encourages the wisdom of nations.
May this holiday encourage you to even greater successes in preserving and developing your language, culture and tradition. May the teaching in Turkish continue to reflect the values of knowledge, tolerance and respect in our common life.
Congratulations on December 21, the Day of Turkish Language Teaching!
