President Stevo Pendarovski, on the occasion of the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, sent a letter of condolences to His Majesty, Charles III, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Your Majesty,
In these difficult moments, on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia and on my personal behalf, allow me to extend my deepest condolences on the occasion of the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen performed her service devotedly and tirelessly, demonstrating leadership even in the most difficult times. In the seven decades of her reign, generations grew and developed for whom the Queen was and remains a symbol of a leader who leads through empathy, with a vision, always ready to adapt the monarchy to the new dynamics of global trends, staying steadfastly focused on leading and representing her country in every part of the world.
During the reign of the Queen, Macedonian-British relations marked an excellent improvement, developing through political, economic, cultural and educational ties, and the support of the Queen, coming from the Government and members of the Royal Family working on her behalf, has been of enormous help for the positive movement of processes.
Her Majesty’s lifelong commitment to serving her people in the United Kingdom and Commonwealth is an example of public service that will remain inspiration for generations to come.
In these difficult moments, please, Your Majesty, accept the assurances of my highest considerations, as well as my wishes for good health.
