On
the occasion of September 8th, the Independence Day, a letter of
congratulations was sent to the President of the Republic of North Macedonia,
Stevo Pendarovski, by the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
The letter reads that the American people join President Tramp in extending warm regards to President Pendarovski and the citizens of North Macedonia on the 28th anniversary of our independence.
“I congratulate you on the continued implementation of the historic Prespa Agreement, which is bringing greater security and prosperity to the people of North Macedonia. Your country’s commitment to democratic principles, the rule of law, and government accountability is commendable. The United States strongly supports North Macedonia as you move forward toward membership in NATO, and I look forward to continuing our work together to further peace, prosperity and stability in the region”, President Trump’s letter to President Pendarovski reads.
Congratulation messages to President Pendarovski on the occasion of September 8th, the Independence Day, also sent the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the EU Heads of State and statesmen from the region and our neighborhood.
