The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, on the occasion of the great Christian holiday, the Resurrection of Christ – Easter, sent a congratulation message to the Head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – the Ohrid Archbishopric, Metropolitan of Skopje, Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia, and of Iustiniana Prima, His Holiness Stefan and all Orthodox believers, to the President of the Church Representation of the Evangelical Methodist Church, Emil Zaev and members of the Evangelical Methodist Church in the country.
“I wholeheartedly wish you to spend the holiday of Christ’s resurrection in good health, peace, joy and immense love. May the feast of light help us open our hearts and strengthen our faith and optimism, motivating us to spiritual pursuits and noble deeds. The Easter holiday this year is celebrated at a time when the whole world is facing one of the greatest threats to humanity. Therefore, we must remain careful and disciplined, taking all precaution measures, observing all the recommendations in the fight against COVID-19. May the victory of Christ over death be our inspiration and hope to endure the challenge and come out victorious! May the light of Easter give us strength and faith in the temptations we face!”, reads the congratulation message by President Pendarovski on the occasion of the great Christian holiday, the Resurrection of Christ – Easter.
