President Stevo Pendarovski, on the occasion of September 28, International Day of Bosniaks, sent a congratulation message to the members of the Bosniak community in the Republic of North Macedonia.
Dear fellow citizens,
On my personal behalf and on behalf of all the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia, I would like to cordially congratulate you on September 28, the International Day of Bosniaks, and wish you good health, success and prosperity.
Together with the other ethnic communities, the Bosniak sincerely and tirelessly contributes to all spheres of social, economic and cultural life in our country, contributing to building a society for all. We are proud that respect, unity and reverence for diversity are the strength of our common homeland. As a country, we will continue to meet the highest standards in the protection of the ethnic, linguistic and religious identity of all our citizens and we will work dedicatedly to nurture and promote the Bosniak culture and tradition.
I would like to take this opportunity to appeal at a time when the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic is expected to remain united, in solidarity and responsibility and to protect ourselves, our loved ones and the whole community. I believe that even from this battle, which is led by all mankind, we will come out victorious and will soon return to normal everyday life, motivated to work together for a democratic, modern and prosperous Republic of North Macedonia.
Happy September 28, International Day of Bosniaks!
