President Stevo Pendarovski, on the occasion of the celebration of December 21 – the Day of teaching in Turkish, sent a congratulation message to the members of the Turkish community in the Republic of North Macedonia.
Respected fellow citizens,
Allow me, on my personal behalf and on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia, to congratulate all members of the Turkish ethnic community on December 21 – the Day of teaching in Turkish.
Language is the soul of one nation and its essential, identity feature. The opportunity to speak, receive education and create in one’s mother tongue is a right of all ethnic communities in the Republic of North Macedonia. Our country is a mix of religions, cultures and ethnicities. Living together and celebrating this day, we send a powerful message that marking and respecting differences binds us, unites us and strengthens and upgrades interpersonal relationships.
Together we can overcome all the temptations we face. Our goal as a state will continue to be to build a better quality life and a better society for all.
Congratulations on December 21st – Turkish Language Teaching Day!
