President Stevo Pendarovski was welcomed today in Prague with the highest state and military honors by the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, and thus started his official visit to the Czech Republic.
President Pendarovski had a tete-a-tete meeting with President Pavel, at which the sincere friendly relations between the two countries were confirmed. The Macedonian aspirations for membership in the European Union, the partnership in NATO, as well as the situation in the wider region, in the context of the war in Ukraine, were discussed at the meeting. Then followed a plenary meeting of the two delegations.
President Pendarovski will also hold meetings with the President of the Senate of the Parliament, Milos Vystrcil, with the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament, Marketa Pekarova Adamova, and with the President of the Government, Petr Fiala.
