President Stevo Pendarovski, as part of his official visit to the Czech Republic, met today in Prague with the Vice President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Jitka Seitlova, and with the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament, Marketa Pekarova Adamova.
Bilateral cooperation between the two countries was discussed at the meetings, and readiness for its deepening in all areas of mutual interest, including inter-parliamentary cooperation, was expressed.
President Pendarovski expressed gratitude for the constant Czech support for the Macedonian aspirations for membership in the European Union and the contribution of the Czech Parliament in that context.
The meetings also discussed the current situation in both countries and the wider region.
