President Stevo Pendarovski visited the Municipality of Radovis today as part of the “Face to Face with the President” project.
During the visit, President Pendarovski met with representatives of the Association of Disabled at Work. The President of the Association, Vasko Vasilev, informed president Pendarovski of their activities regarding organizing and participating in national and regional sports games for labor disabled people. In this direction, President Pendarovski congratulated on the 6 consecutive cups that the Association of Disabled at Work from Radovish won as state champion at the national Sports Games. Vasilev and President Pendarovski also discussed their request for separation from the rest of pensioners, as well as the financial problems of the Association that has existed for more than 30 years and unites around 400 disabled workers.
In Radovis, President Pendarovski visited the high school student Matej Cvetkovski, who presented his two outstanding concepts for a video game on the topic “Environmental Protection”, which two years in a row, in 2021 and 2022, won the first prize in the “Video Game Library” project, organized by the Ministry of Culture and UNPAKI, with an aim of raising environmental awareness among young people and promoting a code of ethics towards nature. In the conversation, Matej informed the President of his plans and ambitions for further education, as well as his past results and successes in the fields of mathematics, information and natural sciences and art.
During his visit to Radovis, President Pendarovski held a meeting with citizens and visited the home of Bota Hadzi Ilieva. President Pendarovski talked with the citizens of Radovis about their everyday life, heard their opinion on the latest developments, as well as on the challenges they face at the local level.
