President Stevo Pendarovski received today the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of North Macedonia, Anke Holstein, in a farewell meeting.
At the meeting, President Pendarovski thanked Ambassador Holstein for her overall diplomatic engagement in promoting partnership relations between Germany and North Macedonia and expressed confidence that the two countries will continue to develop friendship.
In that direction, the President expressed his satisfaction with the recent visit of the German President Steinmeier and Germany’s commitment to our region, as well as the assurance that intensive political dialogue, economic and trade cooperation will continue in the future.
At the meeting with the Ambassador, the President thanked for the overall support from Germany regarding the European integration processes of our country, as well as the implementation of the necessary essential reforms regarding the construction of the rule of law and the fight against organized crime and corruption.
President Pendarovski welcomed the constructive cooperation of the German Ambassador with the Macedonian institutions and wished Holstein success in her future career.
