President Stevo Pendarovski received today in a farewell meeting the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the Republic of North Macedonia, Milan Predan.
At the meeting, the interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the excellent bilateral relations between the countries and the expectation that the successful cooperation and mutual support will continue in the future.
President Pendarovski thanked for the principled and unequivocal support from Slovenia regarding the European perspective of our country, and expressed confidence that the two countries will have even more intensive cooperation in the process of accession negotiations of North Macedonia with the European Union.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the current developments in Europe and the region, as well as on the need for strengthened regional cooperation and solidarity in order to overcome security and economic challenges.
President Pendarovski praised Ambassador Predan’s diplomatic engagement and his constructive contribution to deepening the friendship between North Macedonia and Slovenia.
