President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova received the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, Nevena Jovanovic, at a farewell meeting and thanked her for her dedication and professional engagement, through which she contributed to strengthening relations between the two countries.
Ambassador Jovanovic underlined the openness and constructiveness of the President at the meeting, indicating that in Skopje she felt like she was among friends. She said that Serbia’s policy towards the country will remain unchanged, friendly and supportive whenever needed.
Referring to the tragedy in Kocani, which Ambassador Jovanovic said that Serbia experienced as sadly as the citizens of the country, Siljanovska-Davkova thanked for the Serbian solidarity and the assistance provided in treating the injured in the catastrophic fire.
Wishing her continued success on professional and personal level, the President expressed confidence that Ambassador Jovanovic is leaving the country with positive impressions and that good-neighborly relations will continue to develop, as will the initiatives that have been launched.
