President Stevo Pendarovski received today the representatives of the Macedonian Gorani community from Kosovo, Avnia Rahte and Ace Dimoski.
The meeting discussed the activities of the Macedonian Gorani community with the aim of improving the living conditions and rights of the Macedonian community in Kosovo, preserving their ethnic, linguistic and cultural identity, as well as the efforts for integration of the Macedonians into the political system and government institutions in the Republic of Kosovo.
President Pendarovski welcomed their activities in the direction of affirmation of the Macedonian tradition, culture and customs, and the institutional cooperation they achieve with the Kosovo authorities.
The meeting also discussed the current challenges and problems faced by the community of Macedonians in the affirmation of their identity, resulting from the foreign propaganda activities.
