Today, at a ceremony with the highest state and military honors, President Stevo Pendarovski welcomed the Federal President of the Republic of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, who, accompanied by his Wife, Doris Schmidauer, is paying an official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia.
President Pendarovski and President Van der Bellen had a tete-a-tete meeting, which was followed by a plenary meeting of the two delegations.
They discussed the overall bilateral relations between North Macedonia and Austria, the possibilities for their deepening with an emphasis on economic cooperation, the course of European integration of our country, as well as the open issues of the Western Balkans and the situation in the wider region.
After the plenary meeting of the delegations, President Pendarovski and President Van der Bellen are scheduled to hold a joint press conference at 11:05 am.
