How to protect yourself from domestic violence? Where to seek help?

Domestic violence is a crime. Everyone has the right to live his or her life safely and in accordance with his or her needs.

Victims of domestic violence, as well as all citizens who witness or have knowledge of such violence, need to report the violence to the SOS lines, the nearest police station, social work center, health institution, so that professionals can act and protect them of the perpetrators of domestic violence.

Watch the informative video which is part of the campaign of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy in cooperation with the OSCE Mission to Skopje. The campaign is aimed at prevention and protection from domestic violence during the pandemic caused by COVID-19, through which victims of domestic violence and the general public are informed about the recognition of all forms of domestic violence, where to call and apply for help and what are the existing services for protection of victims of domestic violence.
