President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova received today in a farewell meeting the Ambassador of the Italian Republic, Andrea Silvestri.
At the meeting, President Siljanovska Davkova said that the two countries cherish friendly and close relations and that Italy is an important political and economic partner of our country. In doing so, she expressed satisfaction that the first working visit in her term was the working visit to Italy.
President Siljanovska Davkova, expressing gratitude on behalf of the citizens and on her personal behalf for the diplomatic engagement of Ambassador Silvestri, said that he will be remembered for his professionalism, dedication, diplomatic charm, directness and cooperativeness.
