President Stevo Pendarovski received today the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of North Macedonia, Zhang Zuo.
At the meeting, the position was reaffirmed that the bilateral relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the People’s Republic of China are successful, based on traditional friendship and pragmatic cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
President Pendarovski and the Chinese Ambassador exchanged information and opinions on the development of cooperation in the field of economy, emphasizing the cooperation within the “17 + 1 Cooperation Process”, the framework of which provides opportunities for its deepening.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the current situation, both in our country and in China, on dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as on the vaccination process.
The Chinese Ambassador Zhang Zuo stressed that the traditional friendship between the two countries is deep and that China attaches great importance to the development of relations with the Republic of North Macedonia.
