President Stevo Pendarovski received today the State Secretary for Europe of the French Republic, Laurence Boone.
The meeting highlighted the friendship and progress of relations between the two countries and the French efforts to open North Macedonia’s accession negotiations of with the European Union.
President Pendarovski, expressing his willingness to further continue the intense political dialogue at the highest level, thanked France for its support in terms of our European integrations, as well as the bilateral cooperation, while welcoming the recent signing of the agreement to strengthen cooperation in defense.
The interlocutors discussed the EU membership negotiations, the current screening process, as well as the next stages that should be completed as part of the process for accession negotiations of the Republic of North Macedonia with the European Union.
