Today, President Stevo Pendarovski received activist Ilija Jovanović, president of the association for orphaned children and support for socially vulnerable groups of citizens “Building a Future.”
At the meeting, Jovanovic informed the President about the activities he undertakes to protect and support young people who, after leaving their homes, need help with employment, accommodation and further realization in society. President Pendarovski was also informed about the activities that Jovanovic is taking to prevent child begging, as well as the measures that he proposes to adopt and implement to eradicate this phenomenon.
The President expressed his support for taking actions to eradicate child begging and to strengthen social protection for children who are without full parental care.
