President Stevo Pendarovski received today the Presidents of the four chambers of commerce that are part of the Platform for Public-Private Dialogue.
At the meeting, the Presidents of the chambers presented to President Pendarovski the forecasts and challenges they would face in 2021, and referred to the last, extremely difficult year, both in terms of health and economy.
The Presidents of the chambers informed about the analyzes and expectations of the business sector, about the dynamics of the import and export of goods and services. The meeting also discussed government interventions in the form of packages to help the business sectors affected by Covid – 19.
At the same time, the chambers from the Platform for Public-Private Dialogue pointed out that the number of laws that are passed in a fast procedure, which refer to the economy, should be reduced. In this regard, President Pendarovski expressed readiness to consult with any of the chambers when signing the Decrees promulgating laws governing business sector details.
The meeting was attended by Branko Azeski, President of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia, Nebi Hoxha from the Economic Chamber of Northwest Macedonia, Danela Arsovska, President of the Association of Chambers of Commerce and Aneta Antova Pesheva, President of the Board of MASIT.
