President Stevo Pendarovski received today the Director of the Agency for Exercising the Rights of Communities, Eran Kurtish, and the Deputy Director, Xhelal Hodzic.
At the meeting, President Pendarovski was informed about the current processes and strategic work plan of the Agency, as well as about the challenges they face in terms of issues related to the exercise of the rights of non-majority communities in our country.
In that context, the need to intensify the activities in priority areas that are part of the 2020-2022 Strategic Work Plan was pointed out, in order to more effectively implement the efforts for equality, development, integration and prosperity of the ethnic communities in the country.
President Pendarovski stressed that ensuring the rights of communities provides an equal chance for personal achievement of every citizen, which is one of the basic preconditions for the overall development and stability of society. In that regard, the President reaffirmed his continued support for the efforts to promote the rights of all ethnic communities in the Republic of North Macedonia, in accordance with their constitutionally guaranteed rights.
