President Stevo Pendarovski received today Olta Xhacka, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, who is on an official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the continuous political dialogue and the overall development of bilateral relations between the two countries, which this year marks three decades since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Opinions and information were exchanged on the course of bilateral screening of the two countries with the European Union.
At the meeting, it was pointed out that as NATO allies, the two countries are ready to enrich mutual cooperation, with the aim of an even more active contribution to the security in the region and beyond.
President Pendarovski and Minister Xhacka also discussed the situation in the region, with a focus on the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue after the last round of talks in Ohrid, as well as the developments in the wider region, in the context of the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
