President Stevo Pendarovski received today representatives of the Macedonian Medical Association (MMA), which has been operating in our country for more than 70 years.
At the meeting, the representatives of MMA informed President Pendarovski about the current projects and planned activities aimed at improving the overall quality of health services, through improvement and development of Macedonian medicine and related sciences.
President Pendarovski expressed support for the continued commitment of the Macedonian Medical Association in establishing high ethical standards and protection of the medical profession, with the ultimate goal of improving the health care of the citizens in the Republic of North Macedonia. Recognizing the overall commitment of physicians in dealing with Covid-19, the President stressed that the pandemic further emphasizes the extremely important role of the health sector, while emphasizing the need for future strategies to be built in accordance with the needs and goals of science.
