President Stevo Pendarovski, head of the Macedonian state delegation to the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations, will address the Security Council today at the open debate on the topic: “Maintaining the goals and principles of the UN Charter through effective multilateralism: maintaining the peace and security of Ukraine”.
The participation of the President of the United States, Joe Biden, and the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has also been announced at the session.
Late tonight, Macedonian time, President Pendarovski will attend the reception marking the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Czech and Slovak Republics and the 30th anniversary of the two countries’ membership in the United Nations, which will be hosted by Presidents Petr Pavel and Zuzana Čaputova.
