On June 28, 29 and 30, 2022, President Stevo Pendarovski will participate and lead the delegation of the Republic of North Macedonia at the NATO Summit, which is held in Madrid, the Kingdom of Spain. The state delegation includes the Minister of Defence, Slavjanka Petrovska, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bujar Osmani.
On June 28, President Pendarovski, accompanied by his Wife, Elizabeta Gjorgievska, will attend the gala dinner hosted by the King of Spain, His Majesty Felipe VI and his Wife, Queen Letizia, in honor of the leaders of the NATO member states participating in the Summit.
On June 29 and 30, President Stevo Pendarovski will take part in the meetings of the North Atlantic Council, which are held at the level of Heads of State and Government.
On June 29, President Pendarovski, accompanied by his Wife, will attend the informal transatlantic dinner at the level of Heads of State and Government, hosted by the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez.
As part of the participation in the NATO Summit, President Pendarovski is scheduled to hold several bilateral meetings.
The NATO Summit in Madrid will address the urgent security challenges of today and tomorrow. The North Atlantic Council leadership meetings are scheduled to focus on the adoption of the new Strategic Concept, the enhancement of defence capabilities, the sharing of resources and the supply of resources, support for Ukraine and other partnerships.
