The Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, within the framework of the Open Cabinet activity, was visited today by students who attend Albanian classes in the “Zivko Brajkovski” Elementary School from Skopje.
The visitors had the opportunity to meet President Pendarovski, to talk about his work and the activities in the Cabinet. They informed the President about their impressions from yesterday’s first day of school and about their expectations and interests within the educational process.
President Pendarovski wished them a successful school year, stressing the importance of a responsible approach to primary education and nurturing friendship with their classmates as important prerequisites for their further personal development.
The students also visited the premises where the official and working meetings are held, as well as the halls intended for ceremonies, meetings, sessions of the Security Council and press conferences. The employees of the Cabinet informed them about the history of the building in which the President’s Cabinet is located, as well as about the functioning of the institution, and in the Mosaic hall they also viewed the imposing “Macedonia – Bright Country” and “Macedonia Remember|” diptych, the work of one of our most significant contemporary artists – academician Gligor Chemerski.
Open Cabinet, as part of the Face to Face with the President project, enables direct meetings of citizens with President Stevo Pendarovski. So far, the Cabinet has been visited by citizens of different ages and professions, students from the country and abroad, as well as students from primary and secondary schools from the country.
