The Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia was visited today by students from SUGS “Saraj”, SUGS “Nikola Karev”, Primary School “Gjorgjija Pulevski” from the Municipality of Aerodrom, Primary School “St. Kliment Ohridski” from the municipality of Kisela Voda and participants from the International Festival of Children’s Songs “Grozdoberce” from Kavadarci as part of the Open Cabinet activity.
The visitors had the opportunity to meet and talk with President Pendarovski about his work and activities in the Cabinet and attended the premises where official and working meetings are held, as well as the halls for ceremonies, meetings, sessions of the Security Council and press conferences.
Cabinet employees informed them about the history of the building in which the Cabinet of the President is located, as well as about the functioning of the institution, and in the Mosaic Hall they reviewed the imposing diptych “Macedonia – Bright Country” and “Macedonia Remembers”, the work of one from our most important contemporary artists – academician Gligor Cemerski.
The visitors had the opportunity to see the handicrafts exhibition on the plateau in front of the Cabinet on the occasion of the Crafts Days, organized in cooperation with the Center for Change Management, within the project “Women Power Measures against Covid-19 consequences”, supported by USAID and BTD.
The Open Cabinet activity is part of the project Face to Face with the President, initiated to enable direct meetings of citizens with President Stevo Pendarovski. Within the activity, the Cabinet is visited by citizens of different ages and areas of occupation, organizations, students from the country and abroad, as well as students from primary and secondary schools in the country.
