The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, attended today the Christmas lunch organized by the Head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric, H.H. Stephen, on the occasion of the Christmas holidays and his name day – the feast of Archdeacon and first martyr St. Stephen.
President Pendarovski said that the festive warmth should inspire sharing peace, love and understanding throughout the year. “Let us focus on what unites us, not on what distinguishes us, and all together contribute to building unity, solidarity, mutual respect and progress for the society”, the President stressed.
The Christmas lunch traditionally organized at the Archbishop’s residence was attended by the President of the Assembly, Talat Xhaferi, the President of the Government, Oliver Spasovski, as well as by members of the Holy Synod of the MOC-OA.
