President Stevo Pendarovski attended today the central celebration on the occasion of September 8, the Independence Day of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The celebration began with the act of changing the flags in front of the Government Plateau, followed by the intonation of the national anthem. Video messages on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of independence were then shown.
Earlier, a delegation from the President’s Cabinet led by Secretary General Mile Boshnjakovski, which included Deputy Secretary General Tose Zafirov and the President’s Adjutant, Colonel Biljana Blazeska, paid tribute and laid fresh flowers at the eternal resting places of the former presidents Kiro GLigorov and Boris Trajkovski.
