President Stevo Pendarovski awarded today the medals and the trophy to the winners of the 34th Ohrid Swimming Marathon.
The French swimmer Axel Reymond in men’s and the French swimmer Oshan Cassinol in women’s competition are the winners of the 34th Ohrid Swimming Marathon, which is held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski.
The marathon’s start was marked by President Pendarovski at the “St. Naum” monastery complex, and it ended at the city port in Ohrid. A total of 19 swimmers competed on the 25 km long Klime Savin race, 12 in the men’s and 7 in the women’s competition, including the Macedonian swimmers Evgenij Pop Acev, who won the third place, Aleksandar Ilievski and Leonid Mishevski.
Reaching the goal at the port of Ohrid, President Pendarovski, awarding wreaths to the winners, congratulated them on their success and wished them good health and future success. At the medal awarding ceremony, President Pendarovski presented medals and a trophy to the winners of the 34th Ohrid Swimming Marathon.
The Ohrid Swimming Marathon is a regular race in the world series of ultra marathons of FINA – World Swimming Federation, which is held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia.
