President Stevo Pendarovski hosted a reception today on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus”. The reception in the Cabinet of the President, which was attended by the Rector of the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University – Skopje and the members of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Law, was organized as part of the celebration of the significant jubilee of this Faculty, which is held under the auspices of President Pendarovski.
President Pendarovski, congratulating the jubilee of the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus”, emphasized its role in building the modern Macedonian state, the contribution to our legal and political system, as well as in the processes of democratic development of the country. Wishing many more years of successful and fruitful work, President Pendarovski expressed confidence that the Faculty of Law will continue to provide creative proposals and people who can lead positive processes in the country to successfully address modern challenges to the most important social issues.
Nikola Jankulovski, Rector of the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University – Skopje and Sasho Georgievski, Dean of the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus”, also addressed this gathering and spoke of the importance of the jubilee and of the responsibility of this generation of professors.
The Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus”, founded on 3 November 1951, is the oldest higher education institution in the Republic of North Macedonia in the field of law, political and communication sciences.
