Today in Warsaw, President Stevo Pendarovski, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Poland, was awarded the highest Polish decoration, the Order of the White Eagle, as a symbol of the close diplomatic and political relations between the two countries and presidents and a confirmation of the Macedonian-Polish friendship and partnership.
President Stevo Pendarovski awarded the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda with the “September 8” Order for his exceptional contribution to nurturing and developing diplomatic relations between the Republic of Poland and the Republic of North Macedonia, for his dedicated representation and strengthening of the strategic goals of North Macedonia, aimed at joining the European Union and NATO, as well as for the deepening of friendly relations and strategic cooperation between the two countries on a socio-cultural level, which contributes to the democratic processes of our country.
President Pendarovski is paying a two-day official visit to the Republic of Poland. In the morning in Warsaw, he was received with state and military honors by the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, followed by a tete-a-tete meeting between the presidents and a plenary meeting of the Macedonian and Polish delegations.
In the afternoon, President Pendarovski will have a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, and together with President Duda, he will attend and address a meeting with representatives ofthe Polish chambers and businesses and Macedonian representatives from the business sector.
