President Stevo Pendarovski, during his visit to the Italian Republic and the Holy See, on the occasion of the event “Macedonia in Honor of St. Cyril”, laid flowers today in the basilica “San Clemente” on the tomb of St. Cyril.
Earlier, President Pendarovski had an audience with the Head of the Roman Catholic Church, His Holiness Pope Francis, and met with the Secretary of State of the Holy See, Cardinal Pietro Parolin.
President Pendarovski, together with the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, visited the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and jointly paid tribute to the work of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius.
