President Stevo Pendarovski received today Annalena Baerbock, Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia.
The meeting discussed the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, the partnership in NATO, the UN and the OSCE, the Macedonian aspirations for membership in the European Union, as well as the situation in the wider region and the constitutional changes.
President Pendarovski assessed that Germany is one of the closest allies and strongest supporters of North Macedonia on the integration path to the EU, and the German authorities have been continuously demonstrating their commitment to our country and the region for 3 decades.
In that context, President Pendarovski expressed his expectation for further strong support for the process of accession to the European Union.
