President Stevo Pendarovski met today with the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, who is visiting the Republic of North Macedonia on the occasion of his participation in the informal meeting of the leaders of NATO allies from the region, which is being held in Skopje.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the overall relations between the two countries, the cooperation on regional and multilateral level, on the European perspectives of our country and the situation in the Western Balkans region.
In that direction, information was exchanged on the security issues in a broader context, as well as on the Russian military aggression against Ukraine and the activities in the region.
The interlocutors confirmed their commitment to deepening traditional friendship and strengthening regional cooperation and expressed readiness to continue constructive cooperation within NATO. President Pendarovski thanked Croatia for the principled support for the Macedonian integration into the EU.
